Description

A handcarved mouflon ram pendant sits between brass beads, horn and bone hairpipe, and ceramic chevron beads. Inlaid into the flanks of the ram is synthetic black fire opal which glimmers slightly in the sunlight. This unique necklace is strung on artificial sinew cord and is easily attached or removed with a lobster clasp at the ends of the necklace.

No animal pendant or miniature is ever generic on Painted Coyote Creations. Each one is given a specific species and painstakingly researched in order to take the core assets that make that species what it is and apply it to a piece of material.

~The mouflan ram is thought to be the ancestor to modern domestic sheep. Their horns grow throughout their life and that combined with age often determine the dominance of the male, especially when competing for a female.
