Description

Wrapped around this marbled horn is a pair of soft feathered wings carved out of the buffalo horn. The edge of each individual feather is a gentle brown, something that is carefully achieved by lightly burning the horn on across each feather. A handcarved buffalo horn capable of holding approximately 8 liquid ounces.

The holder paired with this winged drinking horn comes from recycled wood and has been carefully carved to bring out the tiny feature that makes this horn unique in a big way.

~What holds a feather in place in the skin and allows a bird to move them are follicles with tiny muscles surrounding each feather. Feathers can also weigh more than a bird’s skeleton and contain keratin which is also what hair is composed of.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

We work with natural materials such as horns, skulls, and other animal parts as well as certain wood products. These are all subject to imperfections due to the wear and tear they sustain throughout life and sometimes afterwards. We do our best to highlight these imperfections so the buyer is made fully aware before purchasing but this is not always guaranteed. Therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Drinking horns cannot be microwaved or washed in the dishwasher. They are hand-wash only using warm water and soap.

Horn holders should be wiped clean but not washed.
